Burton Albion in the next round.
I was hoping for Everton away.
Anyway, great night on Friday; we never looked liked losing. More like the Tics of old.

Or Macclesfield away in round 4
Sounds familiar; look how that cup run turned out
11 January 2026 at 3:04 pm #206655Big northern team at home would be good one as always.
12 January 2026 at 10:58 pm #206656Arsenal would have been a decent away day bar they play on the Thursday away at Brentford so it will be Sunday or even Monday.
I’d lean more to thinking it will be in the Sunday. I just hope it’s not a 12:15 job or worse, 4:30 either way forget the train

Trying to get my head around it, and supposing it is a Sunday, is a 12.15 kick off not good because of the train times GOING to the game? It looks like earliest train is after 9am. And I even thought about a stopover on the Saturday. Problem being it’s Valentines on the Saturday so prices up on what are already London prices. Probably a bit cheaper than I expected but its all prolonging the trip and upping the expense.
I doubt they will but if the Supporters club put a trip on thaf went down on the Saturday and stayed over Saturday, coming back Sunday after the game, I’d consider that if the price was reasonable. Especially if it gave people a few hours pottering about in the smoke. Otherwise its going to be S.C. coach straight there and back.
But it would be nice to get down about 12pm on the Saturday, and have the afternoon and night in London. Chance for a bit of a mooch, Buckingham Palace and some tea at Covent Garden or something like that. I am definitely interested in whatever the S.C. can put together.
13 January 2026 at 1:09 pm #206659A great draw and a decent payday for the club , hopefully the additional funds will be used to do that most important of aspects when running a club to strengthen the playing squad.
A big day out for our yonger players and some incentive to have a real go prior to this fixture which looks like it will be the highlight of what has been a fairly forgettable season so far.
13 January 2026 at 7:41 pm #206660I personally think we’ll be going to Arsenal minus Tickle. I just have this feeling someone’s gonna make an offer Danson can’t refuse.
I reckon we’ll play on the Sunday and we’ll move our Luton game to Weds
14 January 2026 at 2:30 pm #206663Seen some rumours circulating regarding Tickle this month , Sheffield United seem to be the main club that keeps cropping up.
22 January 2026 at 3:45 pm #206715On the subject of Arsenal……how long does it take to announce ticket arrangements???….10 days and counting. Arsenal announced their prices and balloting info within a few days. Be interesting to see what the cost is ….theirs between £32 to £59 I think.
22 January 2026 at 6:53 pm #206717Heard a whisper that Arsenal wanting to change Latics fans around £40 and Latics are arguing it out with them, saying that is too much
A friend told me they charged Palace fans £25 in the Carabao Cup. That would be fair enough and I’d be happy enough with that.
23 January 2026 at 2:13 am #20671840 quid for a cup game that’s on the TV and on a Sunday is a fookin p!ss take.
What extra would they make from £25-£40 ?. Let’s say we take 2000
£30k extra?, fookin wow
Half a day’s pay for Saka, times must be tight for Arsenal tight bar stewards

Just heard the same on a group chat, the lad that posted it has a family member that works at the club, so could well be legit.
Fuck the EFL
