That ball didn’t look over the goal line to me.
The Ref was conned by the Stevenage players.
To award the goal the Ref has to be 100% percent certain, especially when there’s a lot at stake.
Imagine if we had needed a point to stay up.
Also thought that Kemp should have been booked early on; not three minutes from the end.
Cannot believe in this electronic day and age that they haven’t got goal line technology st this level.
Refs are so poor and and now at Sunday league level in my opinion that goal line technology must be introduced across the EFL to help the officials manage a game.
Imagine if that would have been the difference between staying up and relegation for Latics !
With luck like that I wouldn’t bet against Stevenage winning the play offs.What happened to Hawkeye? Shouldn’t the ref be wearing a watch to alert him if the ball crosses the line or not, I’m sure that was introduced years ago through out the leagues.

And THE most shocking thing is , that these cunts walk away into the sunset without ANY accountability ..
One thing that also grates is Pushing and shoving allowed at corners but penalty given when a free kick comes in from similar location.

How about Taylor’s penalty shout; their Goalkeeper basically took Taylor out by charging straight across his path. That would be a certain penalty in the Premier league; with or without VAR.

The whole game stinks at the moment in my opinion.
So many things get on my nerves now and the standard is Sunday league level.
I worked with a weapon many years ago who was them ‘reffing’ in the non league.
I saw him make an absolute pigs ear of a game in the premier league recently and he dishes out cards like confetti.
He is completely inept but says a lot about the general standard and it’s need sorting because they will empty the grounds !!
