Attended 2 games, Mk Dons and Reading, won them both.
Unfortunately due to work and holidays I’ve only managed 2 games this season, won them both. We look a really good team in my eyes 🤣
Unfortunately I’m not able to watch us again till Bromley on the 31st so here’s hoping they can do the job without me in the meantime
18 October 2026 at 6:50 am #207935It was a simple case of brain over braun
We went with the let’s get the ball down and play football while Richardson adopted the rough em up approach long balls and shirt tugging being his choice of style.
The big difference for me was the energy in the midfield when going forward.
I’m sorry to say but no Max Power made a huge difference. Less sideway and backwards balls and simple faster decision making and faster playing of the ball
We were good too good for Reading. I’m not impressed with Hogan. I thought for the majority of the game he was awful. Yes he scored all be it a tab lucky but if he plays like that every week we will struggle
18 October 2026 at 12:39 pm #207936Agree…..good all round performance. Yes Reading had chances but we fully deserved the points. Midfield were on the ball particularly 1st 20 mins….full of energy and 1 touch snappy passing. Hogan scored but definitely not our striker answer but we’ve no choice as the alternatives are goal less. One thing hit home……..we’ve taken 4 points off 2 off the leagues best teams……this league is piss poor. I’m convinced if Danson had given Caldwell say 3 million for maybe 4 or 5 quality league 1 players then things could be so different. Cannot fathom how a successful business man doesn’t see that as a positive investment to potentially reduce the relegation threat and hopefully increase our chances of a sale.

Maybe if they watched the documentary ‘Up and Under ‘ which centred on Wigan RL and Maurice and his gang who ran a successful sports club putting on pitch investment first and top of the list.
No fan of them in any way shape or form but Maurice certainly knew how to run a successful sports club and it all started on the pitch.
That said i have to say that was an excellent performance on Saturday , easily the best result of the season.
One of the scruffiest goals i have ever seen but the joy around the place afterwards was great to see after so many dismal results.
19 October 2026 at 6:31 pm #207948I’ve been reading a few articles and tbh football in the lower leagues is financially on its arse.
There’s a few in the Championship suffering to the point were if they don’t go up or stay in the Championship they could fold.
The difference is around £10-£12 million but your wage bill doubles so you end up worse off by going up from L1 to the Championship.
There’s lots of owners out there who are now saying they’d prefer “not” to go up because the financial implications could send them to the wall
The problem were suffering from is the same one at Rotherham and it doesn’t take long before it goes pear shaped.
Let’s see how many changes Caldwell makes Tuesday away at Oxford, he can’t help himself

I agree Cladwell has turned in to a tinkerman but he’s forced in to at least two changes at Oxford, Carra picked up a fifth yellow card against Reading and Hogan limped off at the end with a ice pack around his knee so he’ll be doubtful.
Fuck the EFL
31 October 2026 at 7:14 pm #2080203 for 3 now for me 🤣
Gutted I can’t go Tuesday
