For Martinez to use the pitch, and the fact that they didn’t get reduced to 10 men as excuses, suggests to me that the Catalan’s pert little @rse is starting to twitch.
Let’s be honest, they’d have beaten us with 10 men anyway. Just saw the highlights again, and to say that the body language on our players is god awful, is to say the least.
And to suggest that the pitch was to blame for our failings, well, that’s just desperation. It didn’t stop Spurs putting some flowing moves together. For the first goal, they passed the ball all over that pitch.I’m beginning to think that Martinez really has NOT got the backing of his players, and when that happens, there can only be one outcome.
If Whelan IS in Barbados, I think it’s about time he got back here and faced up to what is happening. It’s a complete and utter mess.

The same Barrow who’s reserve team are bottom of their league? I think I’d sooner Whelan take the reigns himself. Him and Johnny B as a management team, eh?
