Couldn’t go today…can someone please tell me that N zogbia and Scharner were injured or died unexpectedly at half time?? If Scotland came on for any other reason then that’s it for me with our Spanish genius….

He might need walking sticks now though
27 February 2010 at 10:48 pm #24595I don’t think NZogbia had a knock, and I think it was a good managerial move by Roberto to sub him.
I have just had the feeling in the last few games that NZogbia has been getting complacent, and has not been playing for the team. I believe he is playing for one man only and as such I think the manager showed alot of guts in subbing him.
There has been many times of late NZogbia has gone passed his man and there has been an easy pass on, but instead has tried to take on the next man and lost possession. I thought we improved massively with Robertos substitutions and we started to trouble Brum. Unfortunatley it wasn’t to be.
We are in a lot of trouble but I strongly believe we should stick with the manager now.
Up the Tics!

27 February 2010 at 11:03 pm #24602the first half performance wasn’t good enough. I think we need to be a lot better than that.
28 February 2010 at 3:30 am #24650Cant understand whats wrong with NZogbia.
OK hes out of postion
OK he only has 1 player to feed
OK were playing 1 up front
OK were not playing new signings
OK Graham Barrow is coach
OK were 1 point off relegation
OK the Carling cup run ended at Blackpool
OK the FA cup run ended to Notts CountyBut whats up with the bloke?
28 February 2010 at 3:43 am #24654thytytwoyearswafc has the same tactical awareness as Martinez.
That makes me feel oh so confident.    :lol:28 February 2010 at 4:10 am #24655But whats up with the bloke?
OK, we rescued him from a fate worse than death at Newcastle.
OK , he gets paid more in a week than most of us get in a year.
OK, he is still very young and has a good career to look forward to after his time at Latics.
OK, he should knuckle down and earn his wage and start playing as part of the team.28 February 2010 at 10:59 pm #24761Was right to take N’Zogbia off yesterday, he was having a poor game and had been booked for absolutely nothing as well.
As for sticking by Martinez, quite right, there’s only 10 games left. We’ve got to get behind the team. Not as confident as I was that we would stay up, but for all those in the “Martinez out” brigade, I guarantee that with a new manager coming into the club now, we’d be almost certain to be relegated, a manager needs time to build a team and get his ideas across and some of you want a manager to do that in 10 gams….do you really understand football?
