The cynic in me thinks a touchline ban might help his reading of the game ;)

So Atwell’s allowed to have a shocker, but if we say anything in reply it gives them an excuse to make a few quid out of it? I hate the FA I really do, there’s no sense of justice.

        Wembley wont pay for itself.

 fair point, it’s just a shame people can’t make a point anymore without fear of getting fined.

        #29045

I’m afraid that by calling him a liar in a public press conference he was always going to get charged

If you remember Jewell’s rant about Phil Dowd after the Arsenal league game we lost 2-1 late on he worded it very carefully so it came across more as a personal opinion as opposed to “Phil Dowd is a ****” & he didn’t get charged

Bobby’s only got himself to blame IMO

Is it defo a fine or will they try and impose a touchline ban? (That will please some if so !)

He’s not the first manager to call a ref a cheat or a liar and be charged for it so stop thinking that we’re being persecuted.

I’m not arguing that he didn’t know the rules, I’m saying that the rules are wrong. If a manager thinks the ref’s made a wrong decision then why isn’t he allowed to state his opinion? We have freedom of speech in Britain and this is going totally against this law. David Cameron is allowed to call Gordon Brown whatever he likes, and he never gets charged.

Aye up Griff and welcome back – wondered what had happened to you, did you get chocolate sickness and have been out of action or just got pissed off with the state of the forum

Some of his team selections this season I am surprised he hasn’t been charged with improper conduct before.

perhaps if they leave his hearing until after may 6th ,we may have a reactionary tory goverment who could bow to public opinion and reintroduce capital punishment ,then the fa may hang him for crimes against football. ;)

Would his trial be known in years to come as The Spanish One Inquisition?
