Relegation battle, 0-0, late second half, they’re one man down, one other faking injury, referee playing on, Latics on the attack. What do you do? Think about where you will be next season perhaps and kick it out for a throw :x
15 April 2010 at 1:59 am #29558u obviously dnt watch football much. As much as i can disagree with what seems a faking injury or not a bad injury what ever. Its a sign of respect to kick the ball out so he can recieve treatment.

Its a sign of respect to kick the ball out so he can recieve treatment. It used to be a sign of respect when a player was injured. Not the kick out, receive the ball in your own half, polite applause football you have been brought up on. Post in English next time as well please
15 April 2010 at 2:17 am #29577As you can clearly see i never said he should of kicked the ball out. I said i disagreed
learn to read.
15 April 2010 at 2:33 am #29594As a “sign of respect” should he have kicked the ball out? Straightforward answer to a straight forward question please
15 April 2010 at 2:38 am #29598If he was injured yes but Figueroa probly never knew it was nothing. He was holdin his leg.
If someone was really hurt like Ramsey was your saying you wouldn’t kick the ball out if the referee wern’t paying attention or something or simply missed it ?

They (the players) were hardly calling for a stretcher and spewing up all over the place. The ref looked at him and played on twice ffs. Just get on with it and take advantage. Respect

If it had been a head injury totally different
15 April 2010 at 3:16 am #29627Latics don’t do gamesmanship, we must be a dream to ref.
In an ideal world all teams would be the same, as it is the most successful ones are the biggest set of ********.
What would we have given to have Brown in our midfield tonight.
15 April 2010 at 2:14 pm #29667Even the authorities said that unless it’s an obvious head injury then the game goes on !!! If a players shin bone is sticking through his sock , fair enough , but when someone is blatantly just breaking up play and will be back running around after 30 seconds of the ” magic sponge ” , then PLAY ON !!!!!
Respect !? Where’s the respect from the player who is conning everyone by playing dead.
Bob should fine Fig for kicking it out last night.
