As with the game against Burnley, Moses had a huge impact when he came on. He made our first goal look so simple. All season we have been crying out for real wing play and this lad can certainly give you that. Speaking to Arsenal fans after the game, they were commenting on how quick he was and the difference he made.
Ben Watson played great. Could never understand us letting him on loan whilst keeping Gomez, but there you go.
We look so much better with the proper wing play, getting balls in the box and setting up chances.
Sorted now though I think. I hope Martinez uses the remaining fixtures to try new things. If we come out at West Ham next week with one up front and no Moses etc, I will be dissapointed.

Tactics were no different to any other game this season, just the players had faith against a team that let them play.
Our problem comes with teams that don’t laet us play, like 3/4 of the league.

I wonder what would have happened if Moses had controlled the ball properly leading up to the 1st goal.
we’ve played 451 all season and the 1 player just behind the front man, we’ve tried gomez, scharner and scotland? (1game) all of who havnt been the best. Watson who plays that position for fun that is his position has been shipped from pillar too post all season finally plays it, plays well and scores! just shows you bob made a mistake with him. He’s been given a chance shown what he can do hopefully this can continue
If Bob doesn’t start with Watson and Moses at West Ham I’d be disappointed.I’d be disappointed if Watson doesn’t start but I think there is still an arguement for not starting Moses. Bring him on after 60 mins against a tired defence seems like a sensible plan to me.
Absolutely agree Watson should be signed up, instead I suspect Roberto will get rid as he is not his favourite as proved by shipping him out on loan and persisting with Scotland.
Sunday’s result shows just what can be achieved when we play with a team of 11 players instead of the 10 when he includes Scotland !

I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again now, knowing I will be ridiculed for it. When we play with one up front and need that person to hold up play and bring in to play the deeper lying midfielders then Scotland is the best, nay only, person we have in that position.
I know his scoring record is worse than poor but it’s not often that we play all, gung-ho like we did for 10 minutes or so on sunday. When we do, I could play up front for us. When we don’t, which is more often than not, Scotland is a good option. I think Moreno is showing that he can do it too. I don’t think that Rodallega can do it as he is a different type of player.
