Hi guys. A rare post for me, as most of my time is being spent playing tennis.
This will rile some people, but out of West Ham, Hull, and Burnley, I’m glad the Hammers are staying up.
Why? Because ok, so their fans may go on about Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, 1966 and all that, and generally being the pride of the East End, (Which is true), and they will say that they are a far bigger club than us (which again, is true) and they will see themselves as having a right to be in the Premiership. (ok, NO TEAM does, it’s all on merit)
I also know the history between our clubs is a bit dodgy, with Whelan bemoaning the ‘Tevez affair’, and our clashes of recent years, Scott Parker, etc.
But, I have to say that I can actually accept all the ‘big club’ stuff that eminates from them, as opposed to the reactions of Hull’s and Burnley’s fans who in recent weeks have done nothing but act like fans of a ‘big club’ and start giving it the big one, whilst also turning on their players, and even leaving early and punching the exits (Burnley fans). Fact is, BOTH sets of fans need a reality check. And they will now get one in the Championship.
Hull managed two seasons, and Burnley managed just the one. The truth is, they had their 15 minutes of fame and didn’t do enough to extend it. Hull fell to the ‘second season syndrome’, as they got a fair few results in the first season, due to being an unknown entity, the same as Latics did. Early on this season, Burnley did the same, even beating United. But they are gone after just one season. Hard cheese, as that old ‘lothario’ bloke (Terry Thomas?) used to say. They bought sod all, and relied on people such as Graham Alexander who is about 37. What did they expect?Do I feel sorry for either? Not one bit. Their attitudes of late have been disgraceful, especially Burnley fans. And that coin throwing thing at Chris Kirkland, makes it all the sweeter. I only hope it’s years until we play them again, the inbred scumbags.
I just hope they’ll be so kind as to close the door behind them……. :D

Yes….I have taken Tennis up, a la Sir Cliff. “Pop Pop”
It’s not the first time I’ve knocked my balls out over Annette.
The first was at Butlins in 1996, and she was from Warrington.

His 8 goals this season is better than most of our lot.

Maybe so John……and how many were penalties?…..
but then again, OUR players are PREMIERSHIP players. They’ve enjoyed their time…..and yes, they’d like to go again….
(said in the same style as Maurice Lindsay’s patronizing statement of ’86)
