1987 saw us matched up against Brentford at Griffin Park as we looked to gain home advantage in the play offs. We won the game 3-2 but it wasn’t enough for us to finish ahead of Swindon Town in the League. David Lowe, Alex Cribley (penalty) and Barry Knowles were the goal scorers in front of 4,235 fans.
