Who will be World Champions on 11th July 2010?
I fancy Italy.
They should top a group of Paraguay, New Zealand and Slovakia, and I think their mix of some of the most experienced and decorated footballers in the world with the new blood that’s coming through (Rossi, Candreva and Marchisio for example) give them an extremely strong squad. And in Lippi, they have a genuinely world class manager.
I have a feeling that they’ll pull off something similar to 2006.

I really don’t have hope for us though as after looking at the stages breakdown it’s likely we’d face Brazil or Spain en route or even in the final. I mean it’s the kind of World Cup run I’d want to see but it does scupper our chances a bit! :lol:

Well if it’s Serbia I might write a letter to signore Capello and tell him to make sure our forwards always pressure the keeper, as he is incapable of leaving his line unless there’s a last-minute corner.

Oh I don’t know. With that clown in nets for Serbia I can see Australia or Ghana going through. England’ll get through to quarters at least, then its anybody’s.
I reckon Spain meself.
