Exactly the same happened to me. Watching the game only 3 minutes or so in and a bleedin Hyundai ad cuts in.
Thought to myself bet they score and low and behold I hear a cheer/scream from the kid next door. :evil:

Bog standard telly is the way forward gents. Got bored with seeing Frank Lampard’s shaving rash etc. and went back to Cataract TV.
is that straight up yes? that a advert came on, while the 1st half was on, on itv hd. that is outrageous, its not formula 1 racing were that happened in the races ,it’s a football match ?

and went back to Cataract TV.So did ITV HD. Not content with the fiasco of missing the goal they transmitted the rest of the match in standard definition.
Can’t imagine the advertisers who have no doubt spent millions promoting new HD TV’s and the means to receive it, being all that happy either.
ITV need their football licence taking off them, they have poor coverage, cant resist going to adverts when key goals are scored, they employ Kevin Keegan and the coverage is generally poor. Let SKY have it and give us a choice, see how many people would watch them.
