I personally think it should be Kirkland, he’s been here a while and deserves it. Caldwell isn’t consistent enough to lead!
Caldwell as captain? Can’t see it myself, if Alcaraz turns out to be a good’un, then for me, Caldwell would be 4th choice centre half behind Alcaraz, Bramble and Boyce.

Caldwell over someone who doesnt want to play for us someone relatively unproven and someone who has always been reliable but never gone that extra yard to nail a place…
