Do you think it’ll be better on average than last season ?
I think if 188bet do a few free coach travels like West Ham last season, it’ll be higher.
Pre-Season should see us sell out for Oldham (pay on day) & take a few hundred (minimum) to Marine, Chester, Kendal, Dundee, Robin Park & Altringham.

Do you think it’ll be better on average than last season ?No.
12 July 2010 at 11:24 pm #39852A resounding NO,we all love our club but the price of following teams to most of the grounds in The greed is good league or(best league in the world) is beyond the reach of the working bloke these days.

No.[/quote]Are you taking time out from counting ticket sales for the Warrington game while glossing over the pitiful attendance last Friday?

If the away end at Oldham is sold out I’ll run up & down the west stand in t’nak at half time in the Blackpool game
13 July 2010 at 12:06 pm #39904A sell out for a pre-season friendly? I think your knackers will be safely tucked away for the Blackpool game Tyldesley.

You’ll be suprised at how many go to Oldham.
I guess the West stand will be deserted at half time then if we do sell out for Oldham :?
13 July 2010 at 7:29 pm #39918You’ll be suprised at how many go to Oldham.I think the only person (unpleasantly) surprised at how many go to Oldham will be you, my friend.

I’ve been asked if you could edit your response to include the word “thankfully”….where ever that would fit it in :?
Mrs Micky is feeling a little ‘queezy’………..!
14 July 2010 at 12:23 pm #39973Cheeky fecker MickyC!!!!!!!!!!!
Sephton – I’ve been following Latics for nearly 24 years now, home & away in competitive & friendly fixtures & I’ve got a pretty good grasp of the followings we’ll take to places during that time.
Never in a million years will there be 2,900 Latics fans paying £10 to watch a pre-season friendly at Oldham. If we pulled them in the 3rd round of the FA Cup we wouldn’t take that many so for a meaningless & inevitably dull as dishwater pre-season friendly there aint a cat in hells chance
500ish tops will be there14 July 2010 at 5:18 pm #39983And to add, Ive been quite a few times myself, The last couple of occasions i went, Once we got off the train at Mumps either the coppers or gangs of asian youth decided to follow us. They will be young men now and i can probably almost guarantee they will still probably be doing it. More than likely violent now though.
