By the way the Fixture List isn’t wrong, we don’t play every team home and away, it’s the new format of the league.
This year we play Chelsea, West Ham, Aston Villa, Wolves & Arsenal along with most of the North West prem teams.

Sadly, I don’t have many personal experiences of any kind :(
17 July 2010 at 2:53 am #40189How on earth can West Ham, Chelsea and Arsenal be in the North Group A? That’s just madness
Oh and incidentally we don’t play Manchester City reserves, we play the Manchester City Elite Squad…..no doubt the brainchild of that prize pillock at Eastlands, Garry Cooke

It’s stupid …. the reserves have to travel down to London a few times a season now.
I’m confident the reserves will do well this year though.
17 July 2010 at 3:09 am #40192How on earth can West Ham, Chelsea and Arsenal be in the North Group A? That’s just madnessIt is a lack of consideration, especially when most clubs are trying to curb their spending. With Reserve games being night matches, rather than a coach journey there and back in the course of a day/night, they are now having to combine a flight with overnight hotel stay, or at least a day-let at a hotel with a late night return.
If the powers that be want clubs to sort their finances out, why bring in a new format that will double the travel expenditure for the reserve squads?
A number of club have, or are looking at scrapping their Reserve squads as they are getting too expensive to run.
