Unless it’s a big game, or an historical game, most programmes from 1960- the present, are not worth that much.
Anything pre-1960 tends to go up in value.
I used to collect programmes, and one day I picked up a massive bag full of programmes, mainly Everton and Liverpool, mostly from the 70’s and 80’s, but with a couple of gems mixed in. One was an Everton programme from the 1930’s, with Dixie Dean in the side. I did some research, and found it was the programme for the match where he scored his 60th goal (I think) in the season he set the record (which will never be beaten).
The other, was a Man Utd programme from 1950, versus Hibernian, in a ‘Festival Of Britain’ match.
Both were in good nick, and I took them to a collectors fair, and walked away £300 better off.
I also bought on Ebay a big pile of United programmes, from the ‘Busby Babes’, 1956-57. I paid £120, which was a bargain, as all their early European games were included, with tokens. A week later, I re-sold them for around £300. Happy Days.
I went to that Liverpool V Olympiakos match, when Gerrard scored that screamer, and a week later, I sold my programme on Ebay to someone abroad and they paid just short of £40 for it. Mad.
