Might be his drinking arm
9 August 2010 at 8:05 pm #41900Reckon it was splinters in his backside, trouble was it was only discovered when he tried to move off it in Cardiff to actually do some work on a football pitch
9 August 2010 at 9:44 pm #41909It’s a real pity he didn’t make an impact at Wigan. I have always thought he was a great talent and was chuffed as a butty when he signed for us. I think he will do well for cardiff in the fizzy pop, at that level he will ghost past players at will and get away with his obvious lack of work rate.
If they are paying his wages for a season, then good luck to um, but sounds like an expensive toy if you ask me though. :o
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!10 August 2010 at 1:13 am #41917You’re right JR, though I’m glad he’s gone, he has wasted an opportunity to have a good career in the top flight. Absolutely no doubting his ability…..but his workrate suggests he doesn’t want to put in the effort to match his skill

Yes, totally agree. When we signed him, I envisaged him as a playmaker who would come to us, take some great set-pieces, and be a great signing. Little did I think he’d be a wast of 5 million.
Something has gone badly wrong somewhere.
