2-0 to the Monkey Hangers and he is down the road. Get a tenner on it at ladbrokes.
I dont want to see Wigan lose to Hartlepool, but it is apparent that the players may well do something about the manager and just how out of his depth he really is.
Just listen to his excuses on Tuesday night “We must take positives….we will learn from this……we completed 45 passes…..Kirkland is one of the nest keepers in the Premier League etc etc etc”
I wont post another Martinez out type message until the Tuesday night interview.
Maybe someone will see the madness that is going on at the club and get rid of Martinez and his backroom clowns after a defeat at Hartlepool.

23 August 2010 at 6:24 pm #43797As I understand it Arsene Wenger was due to take over, but his persistence with bringing in unknown players from the continent and the 1 up front policy would have infuriated the football purists and declined the job !

Not at all mate, quite the opposite in fact. I think you’ll find that most of the sensible posters on here – on both sides of the Spanish divide – would agree with that.
Anyway, if I recall correctly, weren’t you the herbert who once took a print out of one of my posts to work to show his boss? Strange behaviour indeed.

I dont recall, however, thats a distinct possibility, i think it was about your new ‘book’ that you where writing, and with him being my boss and all i just had to ask if we could buy several copies for the company lounge to go with the Miguel de Cervantes, Charles Dickens, Alexandre Dumas etc coffee table ‘covers’ to impress prospective visitors. When is it coming out?

I don’t think it was actually. I think you thought you’d proved me wrong on something and were very, very pleased with yourself.
The new book’s on hold due to other projects but I hope to hav it finished by Christmas. Thanks for asking. In the meantime, try the first one.
