Franco di Santo is eagerly anticipating his Wigan debut and looking forward to working with countryman Mauro Boselli.
The two Argentinians joined Latics over the summer as manager Roberto Martinez attempted to boost his firepower.
Di Santo, who arrived from Chelsea after spending last season on loan at Blackburn, is hoping to win a place in the Martinez’s first team soon.
The 21-year-old told the club’s website: “Mauro is one of the best players in Argentina at the moment, and so I would love to play with him and learn from all of his experience.
“Having so many Spanish speakers at the club has really helped me to settle in and feel at home very quickly.
“I am now very keen to get my first start for Wigan Athletic, and I will be ready on Saturday if the manager decides to play me.”
Wigan, who claimed a morale-boosting win over Tottenham on their last outing, host Sunderland in the Premier League this weekend.
I’m really looking forward to this partnership simply because I think they will have great communication, And with the likes of Rodders playing down the left or maybe playing off these 2 well mite have a better chance of breaking teams down….
How will these two be able to link up as they are both strikers and surely Bobby wont play 2 strikers together?

And with the likes of Rodders playing down the left….Had to laugh at this.. It adds nothing.. He isn’t very good.. especially down the left.
im sure it wasnt many lol. The only weird thing about the Boselli , Di Santo link is usually the taller guy (the ball winner) in our case Di Santo is usually the more experienced 1.
