It was interesting to hear Bob on talksport this morning. Alan Brazil asked him about Whelan having a go at the fans, and he was quite diplomatic as usual.
He said that football being a passionate game, it was understandable sometimes how the fans react, and that it keeps him and his team on their toes.
He also said that everything he and the team do, they do it for the fans, and the plan at Wigan is a long term plan.
I say he talks a good game and his attitude and loyalty can’t be questioned, just a matter of time to see whether his masterplan works.
