Just thought i’d gauge feelings about this match especially after a poor performance at weekend.
I’m going, and as Preston seem to be more our level at the moment, it will be nice to go and watch a competitive match
(Hopefully).Depending on how many nobend bring i reckon we should get about 6 or 7000. Too optimistic?
20 September 2010 at 11:25 pm #46918I will be there because thats what supporters do, but i sometimes wonder why :(
20 September 2010 at 11:26 pm #46919Im going to watch the Latics, who happen to be playing preston
20 September 2010 at 11:28 pm #46920Preston sold over 4’000 Tickets according to the people at the Ticket Office :?
We could witness the 1st ever overhall on home supporters by away supporters. :o
Home < Away :o Basically, more Preston than Wigan ! Don't think it will happen though, our supporters will pay £10 to get in

Blimey.
4000 Preston fans. It won’t be far off more away than home then, although i’ll revise the attendance to 10000. Doesn’t matter aslong as we stuff em.
About time we had a cup run.
20 September 2010 at 11:46 pm #46925i would be very surprised if they bring half of that, it says on their web page its pay on turnstile.
20 September 2010 at 11:58 pm #46926I work with a Preston fan and he said their crowds have been dwindling up to Saturday when it was £5 to get on and they doubled their average gate.
As for the comment about us being at their level….what a pri_ck!
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!21 September 2010 at 12:03 am #46928Anonymous
You have to admit it will be more of a competitive spectacle than some of our games recently? I meant more “towards” our level.
21 September 2010 at 1:30 am #46935As for the comment about us being at their level….what a pri_ck! :roll:i agree with you on this one jr ————————————————————————————————————————————————we are not as good
we may have better players but we dont have a team or leader
