Amazing night….Martinez got a sub on within 10 minutes of him stripping off!!!….that’s real, real progress Bob, well done :D
But we are still going nowhere fast……no tempo, no pace, little forward momentum just the usual pedestrian sideways football that is out trademark…thank god we had Nzogbia who at least gave us the incision we lacked totally in the first half.
And I agree totally with the post which mentions Thomas below….the guy completely takes any pace and momentum out of the team and is symptomatic of what is wrong with the team……he truly is the poor man’s Palacios.

i don’t think they mean that they would be happy if the team loses just that we’re losing alot at the moment & they would feel a bit better after those defeats if they could see that the formation & system were improving, but they can’t

If he genuinely means that he would be happier losing, then that is completely stupid and a ridiculous comment to make.
It’s not complicated boy…course I don’t want us to lose , I have been supporting this club since 72 and it hurts when we do… The reality and real worry is that I don’t think we are improving under Martinez and we will go down with this formation and tactics… The win last night just buys him a bit of time when he is plainly out of his depth
