……for me it’s a night on the ’tiles’ in Blackpool, overnight with some chums then off to see Fleetwood Town take on Cambridge on Sunday – nice little stadium they now have and good ol’ Blue Square Grass Roots footy.

I work in Chorley and they are talk of the town at the moment. They’re pulling in about 800 home fans per game and are hoping to put that through the 1000 barrier over the next month or so.

I played 36 games for Chorley Football Club in t`80s.Well done pal.. My team will be in he football league soon!! On the up ;) .. Believe it or not .. ‘Parakeet’ is the best centre half in the league, No joke!
I’m off to Rochdale so I can tick Yeovil off my list of teams seen :lol:I know we shouldn’t mock but they had no idea.
Both sides kept passing the ball forwards (yes honestly, forwards!!), had shots at goal, and didn’t roll around as if they’d been shot when fouled. They both played with strikers who (wait for it) took on defenders :lol:
And this you’ll never believe – when they had a corner do you know what they did? They crossed it into the box.
How quaint and naive.
