Al Habsi
Boyce Gouhouri S. Caldwell Figeuroa
McArthur Diame
McCarthy
Stam N’Zogbia
Rodallega
Best 11 available I think and abit more enthusiasm in midfield. I do think that Diame won’t be in the 11 with Thomas starting. Also Caldwell in the back 4, I hope we are bluffing over Alcaraz or we give Piscu a chance.
If Thomas and Diame start volunteers to drag them off please. They have both been dreadful for weeks now but still start, personally would go with this 4-4-2 formation but Ive more chance of getting 6 lotto numbers up
Habsi
Stam Boyce Gohouri Fig
De Ridder Mac Mac Zog
Di Santo Hugo
Subs The rest
Sat in stand with me – Diame Thomas Gomez Caldwells
Assuming that we will play 4-5-1 & bearing in mind that Piscu has played 60 mins of competitive football since May of last year and McCarthy is unlikely to be match fit I think that the following is the best line up we are likely to see Bobby put out:
Al Habsi
Boyce Gohouri S Caldwell Figueroa
McArthur Diame
N’Zogbia Rodallega
Gomez
Di Santo
I’d like to see him (if he has to stick to that formation) be a little bit more adventurous & start with McManaman down the left, Di Santo in the hole & Rodallega up front and at a push McCarthy instead of Diame

Yep, that’d do. At least two of the midfield three are (suposedly) more attack minded. The time has come to abandon the two holding players, even if we keep the 451. It might leave us more open but should also give a more attacking opportunities.
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. I don’t necessarily think its the players or the formation, it’s the negative way we use the system. We don’t throw enough bodies forward which is why we are the lowest scorers.
I thought we were better going forward last year, but then perhaps after the drubbings we took at Spurs, Chelsea, United and after the first two games of this season, it seems we have adopted a safety first approach – which is born out by our lack of goals and the number of games we have drawn. If we had won just three of those drawn games we would be just below mid table.
What I don’t think our manager has understood is that while it might be okay to keep things more solid we aren’t going to win games if Charlie and Rodders are the only two players breaking against four or five defenders.
We need to attack to keep the opposition on the back foot and give our back line a breather – not invite pressure like we did on Saturday.
What’s Bobby’s saying again Griff? Be brave, play without fear? It’s something like that – well now is the time where we need to play like that :x

No mileage in doing anything else really, Swindon. A few more dropped points and there won’t be enough games left or time for any of the teams we are expecting/hoping to drop back in and take our place in the relegation zone, to do so.
We need to teach Bobby another phrase – Shyt or Bust!!
Don’t you people realise his name is “N’Zogbia”. He left Newcastle because his name wasn’t being pronounced properly.
He’ll be doing the same here if we’re not careful.
