Favourite smell now sadly missing. The smell of baccy wafting across the pop side. The smell of wintergreen. Pie smells and stale ale in the bar at the top of the pop side. The worst smell is that of a warm boff in the now all seater New Springfield. Mind those toilets hummed behind the club shop at Springy and those dungeon bogs under the Phoenix Stand. Never had a leet bulb in theer either.

Nowt worse than someone stood in front of you wafting pipe or cigar smoke back at you. Used to do my head in.

Yep that pipe smoking cherry flavoured tobacco gave Springy a smell of its own

I thought that was the stench of sh7te from the John Fisher pitches, because they did smell just a tad. Nothing against the school, they just had rancid mud on their playing fields, and if you went down in it playing football or rugby, it took forever to wash the stuff off.
