I see Glen Johnson showed again why he is not even Prem class, never mind England.
Thought that the big girls blouse did OK though, now whining, no diving, no asking for cards and no cheating, he even played well.

27 March 2011 at 10:23 pm #62511I must admit, his precise crossing to row Z when under no pressure is an art that has to be mastered at a young age.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
27 March 2011 at 11:09 pm #62512Didn’t actually see the game, just the goals. The pass to Young was a belter, you have to admit.

Been to two Football League games this season, and it was noticeable that players didn’t whine, dive, ask for cards, cheat etc.
Seems to make him Football League class then

But thats what separates a world class player from Billy Ordinary. That one crucial pass, that goal from just one half chance, that one last ditch tackle to stop a certain goal. We’ve huffed and puffed for 90 mins on a regular basis this season only to be outdone in the last minute having squandered one or two golden opportunities, or bossed possession in the wrong areas.
If you are old enough to remember someone like Jimmy Greaves, it will be his many 2 yard tap ins that spring to mind, not his 90 minute out and out battling display. :snooty:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! -
