On the pitch You knocked the ball around well & I could see the difference in class. (although we are the best team in league 2, we just had a poor start while Dicanio was finding his feet) Watson & Di Santo looked quality to me. Unfortunately for Wigan I think our player wanted it a lot more

The hysterical cr*p that has followed our defeat yesterday has on the whole been moronic.
In our current predicament the FA Cup must be well down our prioities , it’s Premiership survival that counts. Until the Sunderland blip we were in a decent run of form , draws against Liverpool & Chelsea and took points at Sunderland , WBA and Stoke. Judge us on our performances in these games , not an understrength team with 2 kids thrown in against Swindon.
