My nephew is mates with Jack Rodwell. He has no interest in football (my nephew that is) so omitted to ever mention this fact.
I took my 82 year old mum round to my sister’s last week. Mr Rodwell was there. She knows nothing about football apart from being an expert on Titus Bramble for some reason.
Mum “And what do you do at college?”
JR “oh I don’t go to college. I play football”
Mum “Are you any good?”
JR “I’m ok”
Mum “well, there aren’t many jobs around. Ill keep my fingers crossed”Bless
