I thought it was a done deal a long time ago, but it seems that Uncle Dave still hasnt got round to bequeathing the stadium to his beloved football club:

18 February 2012 at 3:55 pm #81549You obviously thought wrong then and took Whelans word for it.
Why a rugby mon would ever take Dave on his word i’ll never know.
Unless it was just an attempt, on your part, to shit stir.

Great win for Leeds by the way. ;)
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!18 February 2012 at 6:46 pm #81555Be assured guys once Mr Whelan relinquishes control of Wigan Athletic FC we will be in great shape. He wii never let anyone undo the magnificent work he himself has manufactured.I have no doubt he will make sure we are in safe hands and though it pains me to say it the same will apply with the other lot as well.Mr Whelan will leave a legacy regarding the 2 clubs and dont be surprised if we dont see a statue to the great man at the DW at some point.Personally I reckon the fella will have merited it.If this is to be our last season in the Prem then its because of Mr Whelan we have done so well not despite him.

Not at all – its just that many on here seem to think that the DW belongs to WAFC, when in actual fact it clearly doesnt. It is only their membership of the Premier League that dictates they get first use of the pitch where there is a clash of fixtures.

obviously you have a problem with this, because all the other shit from the day the stadium opened have turned into tired, stale arguments, then out of the BLUE you spout some shit printed in the crapest paper in the world trying to get a rise19 February 2012 at 12:04 am #81565Anonymous

Then if most on here think that you must spend more time on here than i do, which is strange considering that this isnt even you team.
Cant say i remember seeing anyone claim that the DW now belonged to us.
Now toddle off and update your latest Eddie Stobart sightings in the “Truck Watch” thread :P
19 February 2012 at 12:29 am #81568Eddie Stobart AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH please dont swear Batch,I would rather nail my head to a tree than work for them pr!cks. The reason the industry is in such a bad state is because of friggin Stobarts trying to compete with the likes of DHL and Norberts etc undercutting everone. Many small hauliers have gone to the wall thru thgem barstewards.Seriously I would go on the dole rather than drive for them gobshites.
19 February 2012 at 12:36 am #81569There is a thread over on rlfans. Now that they sponsor “Super League” each team, it would seem, has a “truck” with their logo on.
They’re keeping tabs on where they have been spotted on there. Riveting !
