29 February 2012 at 2:26 am #81977they are a cr@p club with even cr@pper fans-fancy booing like they did on saturday. They showed up singing the usual highly original(not) stuff about empty seats and Wigans a sh’thole(yawnnnnnnnnnn) and then started booing when the Latics team started bossing the game in the 2nd half.
Could be another Leeds or Portsmouth because the y@nk owner isnt chucking it about is he?29 February 2012 at 3:38 am #81981Chucking another £25m ( of his own money ) at a £50m+ deficit, sure is one hell of a way to look ‘disinterested’ in the club !
God knows what he’d inject if he were ‘bothered’ ?

I disagree with that. I think Villa a decent set up with very decent fans. I think the fans boo-ing was puerly based on the fact the players were not trying. Also aiming alot of it towards the manager.
Choosing the manager was a big mistake. He has no credentials for premierleague management what so ever having taken each of his clubs down.
regardless their fans turn up on mass to each and every game. not bad for a crap club and crap fans. i wish we had crap fans like that.
29 February 2012 at 4:56 pm #81990i think you will find they have nearly as many empty seats proportionately as we do.The difference is that everyone goes on and on about ours.
Our fans are much better in my view29 February 2012 at 5:24 pm #81992proportionately, utter b@llacks

They still have the misguided opinion that they are Britain’s second city. Yes they are in terms of size, but they were a large lay-by off the M6 for years that nobody ventured into unless they really had to. Even the BBC continued driving North past Pebble Mill etc. to reposition itself in Salford.
The whole area has an unjustifiably high self-opinion, and it’s why the supporters stay away en mass if things aren’t going well.
22,000 for the ‘second city derby’ is shocking. Imagine that happening in Liverpool or Manchester?
