It’s shocking, It happens more and more these days. Players are super fit and the strain on the weakest hearts keeps being exposed, Puerta, Feher, O’Donnell just off the top of my head in recent years but there are more. You can’t help but fear the worst after an alleged 20 mins without breathing. You have to consider serious brain damage if he has been brought back round.

Think everyone in the country is hoping he pulls through, Thoughts and prayers with him.

All the signs unfortunately are pointing the other way.

Just got in from the match and put ESPN on to hopefully catch some of the Spurs v Bolton game. The programme that was on was about David Beckhams move to L.A Galaxy, it said the game had been called off. I had no idea that Muamba had been taken seriously ill, my prayers are with him and his family.

Mixed reports there, it said on late news on itv and bbc that he was critical, not stable.
I sincerely hope he gets through this and makes a full recovery, but if reports are true and he stopped breathing for 20 mins, he’s borderline for permanent damage there.
Prayers and thoughts are with him and his family now, really do hope he’s alright.
