Commentator has just said Granqvist will be familiar to Wigan fans.
Do you know – I remember NOTHING about him. A vague stirring in the back of my memory, but pretty well nothing.
Come on someone remind me of something he did. I now know he played 14 times in 2007/2008, but other than that I do not remember anything at all about him. Was he good, bad, indifferent, accident prone, a liability, unfulfilled potential… or what? He is one of those blanks that we have about players. I suppose playing alongside Titus always deflected the attention from him, but really!!
Please help!

I’m watching it on Polish telly and the only words I made out were ‘Granqvist……Wigan Athletic…..DW Stadium’
I remember him being slow. So big, cumbersome and slow in fact that he reminded me very much of myself.
12 June 2012 at 12:37 am #89093He was a tall gangly,centre back,slower than slow :)
12 June 2012 at 12:58 am #89094Always liked him myself – personally didnt think he was given a proper run in the side in order to prove himself
Still what do I know – now plays in the national side for one of the top teams in Europe
12 June 2012 at 1:21 am #89095Which top TEAM ???
12 June 2012 at 1:26 am #89096Its like Garswood said he doesnt remember him, which re-iterates a point of mine from way back that 99% of the people on this site are happy clappers / JCLs.
12 June 2012 at 1:28 am #89097??? I remember him,as not being very good a little lightweight :cheer:
12 June 2012 at 1:37 am #89101thats your opinion and thats why you are no doubt earning milions of pounds a year in your role as a football pundit / manager / player
12 June 2012 at 1:46 am #89103That is why he left us because he was a regular at wigan ;)
12 June 2012 at 1:51 am #89104I remember him being slow and after seeing him tonight alongside Mellberg I can’t wait to see Young, Wellbeck and Walcott running at them!
12 June 2012 at 2:12 am #89107and whilst a slow and cumbersome Swedish centre half who will be on upward of £20,0000 a week is up against Wellbeck, Young et al you lot will be on your £6 an hour or in school
someone has got it right – and it aint you guys
12 June 2012 at 2:24 am #89110He was and still looks like tonight, what I would call a new born giraffe. :woohoo:
The man has no balance or strength when kicking the ball. The commentator also said that his current team had been relegated. :woohoo:
How he managed to screw 14 games out of us is a total mystery to me.
From Matlock to ManU

Are you related to him or maybe his agent?

I beg to differ. I’m very happy with my lot and reckon I can continue for as long as I enjoy going to the office every day. Doubt Andreas will have any choice about how long he can keep playing.
You on the other hand, seem to have some issues. Feeling undervalued by your boss?

Are you a little bitter about something?
Size issues?
