A customer of mine has backed Andy Carroll to win the golden boot at @50-1 !! Not only has he not a cat in hells chance but the odds are pathetically low don’t you think ?
Has anyone ever been guilty of placing a downright stupid bet like the one above or know of any mates or family who may have done ?
I stuck a few quid on Arsenal to beat Wigan 2-1 with Denny Landzaat to score the first goal a few years back. Odds where 250-1!

Yes some stupid get I know has put £100 on Torres to get the golden boot now how stup…………… :dry:

Had a tenner on at 125-1 – paid for my trip on Arky’s down to the reading play off game anyway!!my brother put a tenner on theo wallcott to be top scorer at the world cup 2010 at about 60-1. A day later it was announced walcott didnt make the squad!
