Training with the tics once again!
23 July 2012 at 4:00 pm #90567I was told that this morning from a ” very reliable source ” :P
He may just be training with us until he finds another club , or maybe …. he used to be crap but then he was alright, then crap again before being alright again.
Anyway I just hope him and Caldwell have settled their differences before the tackles start flying in. :pinch:

24 July 2012 at 1:49 am #90596centre half, are you for real ;) :woohoo:Best place for him-watch a rerun of the said game.It used to happen in the past when a striker was burned out -they would simply put him at the back till his legs packed up.
Mick Lyons of Everton and Kenny Burns at Nottingham Forest are two who spring to mind -many many more im sure!24 July 2012 at 2:05 am #90597We are now in 2012,not 2007, as i said are you for real, best place for heskey is at home with his slippers on counting his money :P :woohoo:

2 August 2012 at 3:18 pm #90912Emile Heskey has returned to Wigan to train with their youngsters but manager Roberto Martinez says he will not be pursuing a deal for the striker.
The 34-year-old is a free agent after being released from Aston Villa when his contract ran out earlier in the summer.
Heskey has since been linked with a number of clubs, including reuniting with his old boss Steve Bruce at Hull City, and has returned to Wigan while he considers his options.
He is helping out the youngsters and keeping himself fit, with Martinez happy to welcome him back with open arms.
However, the Spaniard insists that does not mean Heskey will be signing a permanent deal.
“Emile has had a tremendous history with Wigan,” said Martinez. “But I don’t think there will be any more pages to be written in that particular book.
“Emile asked to come in to keep himself fit, and we’ve all obviously got some great memories of his time with Wigan Athletic.
“He is always welcome at our football club, and his presence will be great for the youngsters as part of their learning curve.
“Any session where you get the opportunity to work with someone like Emile Heskey is something that every one of our players should be taking advantage of.
“Emile is always welcome at Christopher Park, he can stay for as long as he likes.”
