Is this classed as a minority sport or even a sport at all?
Over 5 million players of the game world wide, some sports don’t even have that many fans across the globe!!!!!!!
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
Its not a sport in my view its a table ( or floor ) game based on a sport ! The amount of people who play it doesn’t determine whether it is a sport or not, if that was the case FIFA Soccer ( Not football ! ) would be classed as the king amongst sports !
Disclaimer…I don’t partake in either but did play Subbuteo when I was at school !
if darts and snooker etc are classed as “sports” then why not subbuteo?
if it did achieve sports status, it would be instantly bigger than a certain egg shaped game played in a very small number of towns! just a fact like, no need to shoot me down!
