What do you want us to do? Go and spend some daft money on some ‘Carlos Kickaball’ (Copyright Alan Sugar), just for the sake of us signing somebody? That would just be stupid.
Look at our squad. Heres the main players, I’ve missed some youth out.
Goalkeepers? We have Al Habsi, Pollitt, and Nicholls.
Defenders? Boyce, Caldwell, Alcaraz, Lopez, Figueroa, Ramis, Golobart,
Mustoe, Stam.Midfield? McCarthy, McArthur, Watson, Gomez, Fyvie, Beausejour (Can also play left back), Moses (Up to now)
Forwards? Di Santo, Boselli, Sammon, McManaman, Maloney.
That squad hardly needs a great deal of addition. You can rest assured Roberto is looking at a couple of ways to add sensibly to the squad. We’ve quite a good squad with different options in different positions. I think we may make a loan signing, and possibly one other before next week. Just to give us that bit more back up in depth.
I think we could do with signing some Sergio Scoreagoal (copyright me) ;)

Is there any way around this? I’m just thinking that City and Chelsea probably have bigger squads than that. I may be wrong.

I think a right back and a winger that can operate both flanks are essential. Not convinced about Moses anyroad with his greed on the ball and temperament over the summer. Get a good deal for the team not him. Knock him off to Chelsea, ruin his potential and get Matt Phillips in who has it in abundance for half the price.
As long as no daft fee was demanded by Blackpool, you would think that getting Phillips would be fairly straightforward, given that he is supposedly Boyce’s cousin. I’m assuming he would fancy the step up.
I’ve said for weeks that as long as Moses wants to leave, just get him sold for a good fee and get a replacement in. No good keeping players who don’t want to play for us.
Personally, I’m happy enough with Boyce at right-back. I think he’s been a cracking servant to the club.
