I have wondered about the logic of this for years.
Why does the transfer window shut 2 or 3 weeks into the season?
Surely it would be best all round for teams to start the first day of the season with the squad they will use for at least the first half of the season.
The current system must have more negatives than positives, I can’t even muster a positive from at the moment.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
