10th is our best finish
15 is the most weve ever won
14 is the least weve ever lost
45 is the most weve ever scored
43 is the least weve ever conceded.

So by my reckoning 9th W16 D9 L13 F46 A44 and a League Cup winners medal would be the best season so far!! B)

Top ten finish is aiming a bit low IMO. I mean you beat us by two clear goals and we only lost to the two manc clubs by a solitary one. Champions League is more realistic….. ;)

Hey! I was being nice, play fair….. Yep, we’ve got the grand total of zero points which if I’m honest isn’t unusual for us at this stage of a top flight campaign. I think (hope) we can score goals but the defence? Not so sure….

Anyway, top ten for Wigan is definitely achievable so good luck!

Ah, it’s all in jest I hope but cheers. BTW what’s the karma status about? Can I cash them in for points at the end of the season? At this rate we’ll need them…. :lol:

if we hope to achieve a decent finishing position this season, we have to be beating teams like stoke at home. there are certain teams who i would say we are better than, the three promoted teams from this season, the three from last season plus fulham, stoke, albion,villa, then there are teams who are on a par with us, newcastle, sunderland, everton probably liverpool this season. these are the teams we have to be beating at home and picking points up from away plus a few shocks from the big boys as well. we started off badly last season and lost games against the teams around us, we cannot afford to do this if we want to finish mid table.

It’s good to read that we are on a par with everton, Sunderland, newcastle and probably Liverpool, and not laugh in the ludicrousy of it, given the money they’ve spent between them and the players they have, but I agree, we are on that level when we play as bobby expects.
