Against Saudi Arabia.
A nice reward for his vast improvement as a player!!!
The four strikers are : Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Huguain & Franco.
An honour in itself to be in contention alongside those 3 superstars.
31 October 2012 at 2:34 pm #95973Indeed.
Well done, Franco.
31 October 2012 at 2:41 pm #95976Three days before we visit Liverpool, that’s handy !
31 October 2012 at 2:46 pm #95978Three days before we visit Liverpool, that’s handy !Beat me to it !
Great honour, but I’m more concerned about him doing himself some mischief (Alcaraz – enforced absence etc.)
Just about the last thing we need based on
(1) blossoming partnership with Kone
(2) last night’s debacle (converting)Fingers crossed !!

I wouldn’t worry. Can’t see him getting picked before those three, can you?
Great honour and experience for the lad, though.

When did I indicate that you were asking me ? Also, what are you talking about leaving the stadium after 73mins for ? This thread however IS about Franco Di Santo !

Ordinarily no, most certainly not (agreed).
Then again if its a friendly, maybe he’ll get 20-30 mins – who knows ?
And if he does, ….(I’ll hope for the best on all counts).
Stranger things have happened ??!
If you were at the game last night you’ll know that Maloney almost came a cropper in one instance (hefty Bradfordian challenge, guy out of his depth).
Saudi / Argentina …

As you asked, I’ll respond :
WEST HAM
Very good performance, not for the fact he scored a cracker but more for his defensive discipline. I feel he was playing as if he had a point to prove (he did kick WHU into touch after all).
If we played WHU every week, then we probably wouldn’t be having this discussion. Maybe their style of football suits him ?
Needs to do the same on a concerted basis to prove his worth.
Looking forward to seeing Alcaraz back.
BRADFORD
Unlucky to have a goal chalked off.
Switched off and went to sleep at one point in the 2nd half, could have cost his team (‘Ramis of old’ ?) ….
Defence not tested last night (pace-wise, fellow Spaniard, Lopez seems to have a bit more about him …)
