Well we are at just over the quarter way point this season and I really do think that Southampton and Reading are going down ! Jumping the gun maybe but they do really look in dire straits.I believe that QPR will further strengthen in January and get out of it but the aforementioned are doomed !
6 November 2012 at 2:11 pm #96283Both are odds on with us hovering around 3-1. Its still early doors and though it looks promising the time to assess is around Christmas. I personally cant imagine a season without a relegation fight and its got me thinking:
Whats the very most Roberto could achieve with Wigan. If he did finish us in the top 10 could we realistically ever achieve any more?
6 November 2012 at 2:13 pm #96284You really have jumped the gun with those two,I can see both having new managers soon, dont forget we got out of the brown stuff when it looked impossible,so I think you are a little premature with there demise :woohoo:
6 November 2012 at 4:13 pm #96297Maybe it is premature maybe it isnt. I too tipped both southampton & reading as dead certs to go down, along with norwich & ourselves to finish comfortable between 10 – 14th.

Saying that Southampton are really giving it a go just not getting the results but Reading look fooked.
As for QPR they can buy as many players as they want but for me Mark Hughes has some how through his own giant ego made people think he is a top class manager.
Had plenty of money and time to put the right things in place there and they are absolute rubbish.
I mean look at the end of last season as what he said when being asked about scraping away from relegation and I quote ” Well I’ll tell you something it wont happen again while I am manager”..
Asking for it :cheer:

As somebody allures to above Mark Hughes is not the manager he or Fernandes thinks he is.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!9 November 2012 at 9:40 pm #96442Doesn’t look to good for the teams you mentioned …however I met Ian Taylor from Villa n my hols this year who was less than convinced about their chances of staying up.
Nice to read a lot of good press about us at this time of the season …11th finish.

10 November 2012 at 12:24 pm #96464Sorry Griff didn’t know it wasn’t allowed never again..However while the wife didn’t move front her sun bed and the little un from the pool it was a refreshing change talking to someone who held RM and Latics in high regard . Nice fellow forgot his name now :P
10 November 2012 at 12:38 pm #96467If you offered me our position now at the start of the season I’d have taken it. After seeing some of our “roll over and die performances” though I’m slightly miffed.
10 November 2012 at 12:53 pm #96469I’ve seen most games this season and I can’t say I s aw any rollover performances? A few bad decisions for the officials maybe.
10 November 2012 at 2:10 pm #96470I’ve seen most games this season and I can’t say I s aw any rollover performances? A few bad decisions for the officials maybe.Fulham at home was certainly one and we weren’t really much cop at Swansea were we really?
10 November 2012 at 5:24 pm #96471Swansea should have been a draw IMO .Fulham one top drawer player made the difference.
