What a tit !
He did this as a joke. He was clearly laughing (Or trying his best not too) all the way through it.
This was verified by his tweets.
Quite funny to be honest.

I follow him on twitter, yes. Not for any reason, just follow most people I come across on there. To be honest the regular banter between him and Piers Morgan can be amusing.
That being said you wouldnt need to follow him as his name has been ‘trending’ in the UK for the last couple days.
All was done as a joke, and to give him his dues, it was funny, probably got the attention he wanted.
Ah – the “I was only joking” defence :)Have you watched the Video? He is quite clearly stopping himself from laughing, I don’t for one minute believe this is just a ‘defense’.
Especially after McClaren did a similar thing, he wouldn’t do it seriously, clearly just taking the p*ss.
No point hating for the sake of hating, it was funny, give him some credit, as it’s probably the only thing he has, and ever will do, that has some amusement to it.
Didn’t he play the Policeman in ‘Allo Allo’?
Apart from the obvious banter with smiles at the end,I don’t see him trying not to laugh ! It would appear that Twitter can get him out of trouble as well as in it eh !

I did think that they may find it disrespectful. Also there is no ‘If he was or wasn’t taking the piss’ .. He just was, it’s obvious. People just dont want to believe he was joking as they think he’s a BellEnd (Which to be fair, he is)
News just in…..A mate of a mate who works in a bar in Marseille said that Mr Barton pops in from time to time and wait for it…..He has developed a pathetic ( Words of mate of mate ) Faux French accent ! Oh dear oh dear ha ha ha
Quite a number of experts don’t believe he was “having a laugh”:
Quite a number of experts don’t believe he was “having a laugh”:They must hate him too :P . Not reading it all as I am currently at work, but nobody would be stupid enough to say they had done it as a joke if they hadn’t.

And here in lies the moral of the story !! :cheer:
