Adrian Lopez is waiting on the results of a scan on his injured hamstring but Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez believes he will be out for between six and ten weeks.I’m taking my boots with me on Saturday. My gameplan, should I get a start due to injuries, will be to try and keep Santi Cazorla out of the game. Don’t worry fellas, I have a plan. I’m gonna follow him around, flicking his ears and winding him up…..so much so that he retaliates and lashes out. He get’s a red, and we get a win against them, much to Arsene Wenger’s anger……
….only question is, do you think I will get away with it during the pre-match handshakes? Because with my kench and lack of football activity over the past few years, I’ve sod all chance of getting near him otherwise!

Feel for the lad though, he’s just starting to show what he can do. Been pretty solid in recent weeks.

He made a couple of mistakes against QPR, but I’d put that down to a lack of playing time. He looks considerably faster than any of the centre halves we currently have – including Figueroa.19 December 2012 at 9:31 pm #98319Our injury list is massive, don’t think i’ve ever known it to be so bad?
Should be interesting to see the starting line up on Saturday. What do you think, Boyce en figs at centre back?
Anymore injuries and Bob just might have to get his boots out..

Wouldn’t mind seeing Golobart given a go – but I doubt it will happen.
I think either Ramis, Caldwell or Alcaraz will be declared fit and will line up with Figeuroa and Boyce.

Would be nice after all he was bought as one for the future. Now could be the ideal time to see how good a potential he is (in at the deep end)
20 December 2012 at 12:46 am #98330Ramis is fit and could have played last Saturday ! I guess the manager was just being extra cautious ! Maybe he was 98% fit and deemed not fit enough ! He will be back on Saturday and he will get run ragged and will look like Matt Jackson in his final season for us !

20 December 2012 at 12:21 pm #98345Shame. He’s been playing well recently and has certainly proved me wrong regarding his abilities.
