Gives it out all the game and when someone has a go back he rolls over and cries like a little lad.

And nothing at all wrong with his tackle on Maloney.

Have to agree think the big bodied, but little leg is a Joey Barton type player but today both James Mac and James Thur were better than him. goodpost
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!23 December 2012 at 1:54 pm #98490Anonymous
Had the tackle been on him he would still of been rolling about today
Its ok making them sort of tackles against little Wigan he can het away with it, but if it was the champs league or an international tournament he would seen red for sure

Why? He got the ball cleanly, wasn’t two footed, wasn’t from behind. Didn;t see Maloney complaining too much. Honestly don’t think it was even a foul. The only possible infringement was that he went in a bit hard. So what?

Did you not see my last post?
My point is that if it had happened to him he would of been rolling about like he’d been shot.
And you can get sent of for intent.
for that ref to give even a free kick let alone a yellow card suggests it must looked bad form were the ref was standing

I’m not sure that Wilshire is diver like some of the other, mainly foreign, Arsenal players, but I might be wrong.
You can get sent off for intent but I’m quite sure all he intended to do was to slide in and win the ball, which he did. There is no law that says you can’t knock the man over after you have won the ball.
The fact that THAT ref gave a yellow for it is no recommendation at all. I wouldn’t trust him to sit the right way on the bog. :)
And let me put this to you – if that had been McCarthy (for example) making the same tackle on Wilshire and Wilshire had juts got up and walked away, wouldn’t we now be screaming that little Wigan were being victimised?
Two sides to everything mate, I just didn’t see it as a foul.
23 December 2012 at 3:33 pm #98503In real time it looked a bad un from east however just watched it back not even a foul for me either.

I’m going off what we and the ref saw, which looked like a clumsy challenge
As I said before the ref was intent on Arsenal winning the game even a blind man could see that, and for the ref to see the challenge deserving of a yellow card suggests to me that it looked bad ( I mean he was only a few yards closer than a lot of us), and I can’t almost garantee he would of sent a Wigan player for a similar challenge.
I can also garantee that the bow legged little shit would of been rolling around and would of made damb sure he got the man sent off.

This one does a very good impression feigning injury. They can’t all be ‘divers’.

I can’t take you seriously any more, given your comment on the epiphany thread. You should be banned for your spelling alone!
Two people have offered a differing view to yours on Wilshire’s challenge (which they are allowed to do) yet all you do is repeat your opinion over an over again. How can you (almost) garantee (sic) that he would of (sic) sent off a Wigan player? Do you know the difference between fact and opinion?

Why did the ref book him then ?

Sorry I didn’t realise I was being marked on grammar
Could of sworn you said this was a board of opinions
And I think you’ve just proved my point from the epiphany thread

Why did he give them a penalty?
Why did he not give us a penalty?
Why did he tell Di Santo to remove a non-existent earring?
Because they make mistakes, that’s why! In my opinion, it wasn’t a foul. Neither you nor Moggy are going to change that opinion, just like I won’t change yours.
23 December 2012 at 4:13 pm #98513Wilshere made a meal of things when he got beat in the air by McCarthy. Writhing around holding his face ! Mac hardly fuckin touched him ! Turning into a joy boy and believing his own hype ! Cant be doing with players like that !
