On a serious note.. How much are the books and what are they about? Looking for something to read at the moment.

Also, what is the reason that writers are known for drinking?? Why is it a ‘thing’.. Don’t get it.

And last but not least, what is your FB page actually called? FaceBook is blocked from our works computer so I will go on Mobile and like it :)

I’ve been watching Latics 27 years now.

I was just thinking yesterday, for years I longed for a ‘big team’ in the draw, and whilst the Norwich and Leeds games were big matches, they weren’t exactly against the biggest clubs.

The nearest we came in that time was when we were playing Bury and the winners would face United at Old Trafford. Think it was circa 91/92. Needless to say Bury beat us.

So in all that time before we got in the Premier League, I really cannot remember us ever landing that ‘plum tie’. I remember going away to Watford in about 1991, they beat us 2-0 on a rain soaked day.

The league Cup was kinder, with trips to Anfield, etc. But in the FA Cup, the draw just never seemed to get us that ‘big’ team.
