The rumour going around today is that this guy will sign in the next 24 hours for a sum of £6.5 million.
Don’t know whether this can possibly be true, or even if a player of his calibre would be willing to come here or if we would pay his wages as im assuming they would be high!
But still if this did by any chance happen, it would surely be a fantastic signing!! Could be a very prolific striker B)
He signed a 4 year contract with Flamengo last January.Correct, he was a flagship signing along with Ronaldinho but apparently nobody has been paid in over 2 months so he wants off.
The word is he will go back to Russia but while £6million is not out of the realm of possibility I would hazard a guess his wages are :(

I don’t see why people don’t think we can have a chance of getting this guy. Some people need to start thinking a bit bigger. If it’s right what GL says about him going unpaid and in some dispute, it might happen.
He was close to joining Everton about 2 or 3 years ago, and can play that loan striker role really well. You don’t play for Brazil 20 times if you don’t have some ability…..
