14 January 2013 at 12:35 am #99906forgot to mention that the lodgers/rent boyos, whatever they’re called these days, have failed to break the 10k season ticket barrier for the 1st time in a few years…..things looking up for that yorkshire village hobbies future…..bravo
A nice easy question for you SDW:
How many Season Tickets did Wigan Athletic sell for this season?
Find me an official figure from an official source, and provide the link – the main mon on here skilfully dodged my question, so perhaps one of his loyal followers like you can find it.
Over to you SDW…. But I bet you fail miserably in this simple little task.

14 January 2013 at 1:39 am #99908I thought that simple question would be too difficult for you.

You’re the one who posed the question, so why don’t you find it?
Not really important is it though?
14 January 2013 at 3:37 am #99912He could try e-mailing Ed Jones to ask the question but I suspect he’ll die of old age waiting for a reply!
14 January 2013 at 3:53 am #99913I googled it but the closest I came to an answer was a thread on vital football. Unfortunately, the OP on that thread was unable to prove his claim with facts, quotes or links.
Standish – It isnt that important, but I find it curious that the official figure for this or any season has never been reported, nor has any “sold more than XXXX” figure been reported by the club.
14 January 2013 at 6:13 am #9991411800 season tickets sold based on looking at the start of the season last time I looked on chubbie site it was around 9000
14 January 2013 at 11:04 am #99916Thanks. Can you provide me a link from an official source as to where the figure 11800 came from?
14 January 2013 at 12:54 pm #99917FFS mate get a hobby. WTF does the number of ST holders Wigan Athletic have got to do with the price of fish? It will be less than 99% of the Premier League. So what? Our average is only around 17-19k. So what? We’ve been in this league for 8 years now meaning that at least 21 teams have finished lower than us (its more like 32 i think) despite all having more fans than us and more history etc etc etc etc.
Nobody on here gives a flying fuck, a shiny shite or anything else. We’ve made a profit this year and should we survive this season will be in a better financial position than most PL sides regardless of how many fucking fans, season ticket holders or pissing home grown players we have.
