Wigan Athletic will welcome back Hugo Rodallega to the team to play Everton this weekend, after serving out his here match ban after being sent off against Manchester United.

It has been a long time since Latics have beaten Everton, in fact it is a long time since we have taken anything from the Blue section of Liverpool.

Latics have just one win in the last seven and have only won twice against the Toffeemen in 10 attempts, so the omens are looking bad.

We do however seem to be catching them at a time when results are not going their way, but who the hell am I kidding, when have results gone our way recently.

Wigan have been finding it hard to grind out results, Stoke at the weekend was a prime example of a game we should have took all the spoils rather than just a point.

Everton however have lost all the consistency of last season and are sitting just 2 points and three places ahead of us in the table.

Everton don’t have any fresh injury worries whilst Latics will still be without James McCarthy and Victor Moses.

A Latics win would see us jump out of the bottom three and vault our hosts and you know what, there is no reason we can’t do it, whether we will do it or not will rely heavily on our midfield supporting the striker.

It is plain to see that if we can just get the confidence necessary for them to flood the opposition penalty box, we will score more goals. Yes it will leave us a little open to counters, but we can’t go on not giving it a go.

A couple of game of this working and we will see different fortunes at Wigan Athletic. If it does work, claim your £30 of free bets on betfair by clicking the advertising links on site and put it all on the win, it’s a no lose.
