To celebrate Wigan Athletic and Roberto Martinez securing their sixth year in the Premier League, the club has loads of stuff going on for our final home game of this season against Hull on Monday afternoon.

Burnley’s failure to get a result against Liverpool last weekend coupled with Monday’s opponents Hull City losing to Sunderland secured our sixth consecutive season in the Premier League. It is quite frankly a fantastic achievement considering the style and personnel change this term.

To celebrate a tough season that has seen the highs of beating title contenders Chelsea and Arsenal, plus putting the once ‘big four’ regulars Liverpool to the sword, the club are to create a festival atmosphere for the final home game on Monday.

Outside the Supporters Club Bar there will be the 188BET Cube providing entertainment and giving away prizes, whilst inside the Supporters Club Bar prematch drink and food will be available. Muller will be wandering around with free samples and taste tests.

There will be supporter competitions and some special surprises, including ‘beat the player’ activities. On the pitch before the game there’ll be entertainment from the pipes, drums and bugles of the Royal Irish Regiment, joined by their mascot the Irish Wolfhound Brian Boru, all ahead of the all important team news before the action gets underway at 1.30pm.

The game will also see a massive halftime parade of all of this season’s Teams of the Week, with over 200 children parading around the pitch in their respective team colours.

Roberto Martinez said “The environment that you the supporters have created at the DW Stadium throughout the campaign has played a massive role in helping the players. On Monday we must replicate that atmosphere with a smile and a huge feeling of pride to celebrate our campaign with a good performance. Let’s make it a party atmosphere and finish at home on a high!”

There already 19,000 tickets sold for Monday and with this announcement of all the extra activities, attendance will be high. Tickets are still available and the Ticket Office at the DW Stadium will be open for sales on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon, closed Sunday and will reopen on Monday at 9.00 a.m., as will the hotline 08716 633 552. Remember that season ticket holders can buy 2 extra tickets to the game for just £6 each and get a third ticket FREE.
