A new internet TV Sports News show is looking for an outspoken (not many of them on here eh?) Wigan Athletic fan to be on hand to talk about any big news our team may be invloved in over the coming season.
There is a new internet TV show called Sports Tonight Live that is to be launched for next season. They’re run by Kelvin MacKenzie – former editor of The Sun and founder of talkSPORT – with Mike Parry as lead presenter. They launch 13 August and will air nightly from 7 – 11pm. You can Google them for more info:
We are looking for a fan representative from every football club in the country who can appear on the show – via Skype – to give an alternative/fans perspective on events at their club when required. We’re looking for someone who is eloquent, opinionated, informed – controversial but clean cut. The individual would serve as someone we’d speak to live on air when WAFC have been involved in a big story of the day.
On significant evenings like Monday night fixtures/cup nights or transfer deadline day, they would have to be happy to be on standby for a call and be happy to do this for free. Ideally they would also need a bit of banter and a thick skin as we aim to be controversial, with Parry at his outspoken best.
