The second half peformance was a tad disappionting as Wigan Athletic should have secured all three points after dominating large parts of the game after Lee Cattermaole was predictably sent off for two very rash challenges.
Boselli didn’t manage to break his duck even with an open goal gaping in front of him, Rodallega also spurned chances. Sunderland scored with one of very few chances as the rest of the team had set their stall out for a draw. Antolin Alcaraz was Latics’ saviour scoring at the death.
It should have beena convincing win, but in the end it was a well earned draw, unfortunately fro Bobby though the dark side will have him hung out for it.
